Karpacz for children means a fairy-tale park, a model railway hall and an inflatable playground. See where to go with kids, rain or shine.
Where can kids run around outdoors in Karpacz?
The biggest space is Park Bajek (Fairy Tale Park) in Wilcza Poręba, laid out on about 2.5 hectares. Children walk between fairy-tale cottages: Cinderella, Hansel and Gretel, the Snow Queen, the Frog King, Pinocchio, Snow White, Thumbelina, Little Red Riding Hood and Rapunzel. There is also a big playground, a miniature Śnieżka mountain to climb and a tunnel hiding the "treasure of the Mountain Spirit". In summer a pontoon track opens.
Another idea is Figlomania at Konstytucji 3 Maja 81. The inflatable playground has a Panda slide, an obstacle course, Giga Combo, a mystery jungle, a ball pool, climbing walls and skill games. According to the venue's website, all equipment is checked regularly and certified. Parents can rest in a relaxation zone with loungers.
What can kids do in Karpacz when it rains?
All three places on this list carry the "Na deszcz" (rainy day) tag. A good pick is Świat Kolejek (Railway World), a play hall with themed model scenes where trains run. Children steer the trains, switches, bridges and tunnels themselves instead of watching from behind glass. The scenery nods to the Wild West and the Land of Ice, and there are VR goggles too.
