Mountains in Lądek-Zdrój are three summits above the spa town: Trojak with a view of the Kłodzko Valley, Radoszka and Dzielec. Which to pick for a walk?

Which summit in Lądek-Zdrój gives the best view?

Trojak (766 m above sea level) in the Golden Mountains rises directly above town. At the top is a viewpoint with a platform from which you can see almost the whole Kłodzko Valley. Nearby is an arboretum, and the rock formations are used for climbing. The German name of the mountain is Dreiecker. It is built of gneiss, a metamorphic rock.

What in Lądek-Zdrój belongs to the Krowiarki?

Radoszka (565 m above sea level) lies about 2 kilometres north-east of town and is the north-eastern summit of both the Krowiarki and the whole Śnieżnik Massif. It is built of gneisses of the Lądek-Śnieżnik complex and covered with spruce and mixed forest of the lower montane zone.

Dzielec (535 m above sea level) is a separate massif on the edge of the Krowiarki, pushed out towards Lądek-Zdrój. Its name comes from its function, as it separates the spa town from the built-up area. You will find the rock formations Stary Zamek and Wysoki Okap here. Earlier names were Galgenberg and Überschaar, and in the 1880s also Bismarckkoppe.
