The terrace on the town hall tower gives a panorama of the Dzierżoniów Basin with the Owl Mountains, the Ślęża Massif and the Kiełczyn Hills. You enter through the town hall, which has stood since the second half of the 13th century and has housed the town council since 1337. A Gothic portal from the 14th-15th century leads to the tower, and the platform is open from Tuesday to Sunday. Confirm the hours before you visit.
The Dzierżoniów City Museum sits in a villa from around 1897 at 30 Świdnicka Street. The villa is listed in the register of monuments and belonged to Hermann Cohn, co-founder of the Cohn Gebrüder spinning mill. The museum was created on 1 May 2011 from the former Regional Room. Its permanent exhibition tells the story of the Diora radio factory. The museum carries the tag Rainy day, so it is a good plan when the weather has spoiled your walk.
The Baczyński Library at 2 Rynek is the oldest cultural institution in town. Besides its book collection it has audiobooks, films, board games and access to Legimi. The Christ the King church in a former inn from 1900, Catholic since 1948, and the Resurrection of the Lord church in a former cemetery chapel from 1910, converted into a church in 1981-1982, are calm stops at the end of the day.
