Scenic views in Międzygórze are found on the ridges and summits of the Śnieżnik Massif. Here are places with the view tag and how they differ.
Where to look for views in Międzygórze?
All places on this list are mountain hills above the village, and the choice depends on how high you want to go. The highest is Średniak (1210 m above sea level), a prominent point on the ridge that runs west from Śnieżnik. Next to it lie Jaworowa Kopa (1138 m) and Smrekowiec (1123 m), both in the Śnieżnik Landscape Park. Jaworowa Kopa stands on the way to Śnieżnik, so it fits well into a longer route. The Śnieżnik Pass separates Średniak from Śnieżnik, which rises less than two kilometres further on, and that shows the scale of the whole massif.
What to pick for a shorter outing?
If you do not have the whole day, go for the lower targets. Toczek (713 m) rises above the Wilczka valley and has the rock formations called the Rock Gate and the Tower on its southern slopes. Spruce forest grows below, and mountain meadows above link up with the Polana Śnieżna clearing. Góra Modrzewiowa (703 m) is a narrow ridge above the Nysa gorge: the western slope falls very steeply there, the eastern one is gentler.
Czarna Kopa (879 m) lies on the western ridge of Śnieżnik, and its north-eastern slope drops steeply into the Czarny Dół valley. Lesieniec (868 m) is understated and wooded, so it is more a quiet walk than a viewpoint in the full sense. You can keep the route short by taking the green or blue trail to it from Międzygórze.
How to prepare for the walk?
The descriptions give no trail marking conditions, so check the route before you leave and take a map. If the weather turns, switch to other attractions in Międzygórze.
