Paintball in Lower Silesia: fields near Wrocław, forest arenas with bunkers and options for children. See where to play with a group.

Where can you play paintball near Wrocław?

The closest to the centre is CityPaintball in the Zacisze-Zalesie-Szczytniki district, with five themed fields. In Sołtysowice you find Fort Przygody (Adventure Fort), an extreme entertainment park aimed at groups, not at a solo stroll. It can host up to 90 people at once.

Outside the city the choice widens. Paintball Terytorium in Pierwoszów, in Trzebnica County, has operated since 1999 and describes itself as one of the longest-running paintball companies in Poland. Ozorowice has PaintballBros with scenario games for company and friends' groups, and Siemianice has Woodspot, a site of over 10 hectares with two natural arenas: a large one for up to 12 players and a small one for one-on-one games.

Near Oława there is Paintball Wars in Stanowice, with terrain obstacles for tactical games, and Paintball Nad Stawem in Oleśnica Mała, a farm with a paintball field, a quad rental and a fish pond. In Brzeg Dolny you find HeadShot Paintball in the Burza forest, described as the only such place in Wołów County. In Skokowa, Furia M3 plays on open ground under the sky, so the weather shapes every game.

Which paintball is suitable for children?

Age limits differ, so check them before you book. At CityPaintball classic play starts at 13, and children aged 7-12 get Gotcha Paintball with reduced ball impact. The Postrzeleni arena in Złoty Stok has a SplatMaster variant for children from 9 and classic paintball from 15. Paintball Arena Guzice accepts children from 8.

Bang Bang Paintball Arena in Bielawa also has a separate offer for the youngest. Families with smaller children can pick Paintball Osada in Łączna, in Mieroszów municipality, where besides fields with bridges and trenches there is bumper ball, a game played in inflatable spheres. Ekstremalny Wałbrzych near Dziećmorowice also serves children and groups.

Where can you play in a forest, among bunkers and fortifications?

The area around Głogów has two such fields. Paintball Głogów in Serby lies in woodland with remains of old fortifications, and the bunkers and old defences serve as parts of the game scenarios. Paintball Dziki in Szczyglice divides its site into two separate arenas among the trees, between bunkers and the remnants of old defences.

Forest is also the setting for many other fields: HeadShot in Brzeg Dolny, Paintball Terytorium or Lost Paintball in Gaszów, between Bolesławiec and Lwówek Śląski, set away from houses, with a covered fireside spot for about 40 people.

Where can you organise a company event or a stag party?

Most fields live off groups. At WYSTRZELENI in Ścinawka Średnia the package is designed for organised groups of six to eighteen people, with a barbecue spot. In Doboszowice near Kamieniec Ząbkowicki the Na celowniku field is available by reservation, so only one booked group plays at a time. Świerkowy Paintball in Jakubowo Lubińskie combines a patch of forest with an open field and arranges team events, birthdays and picnics with a campfire.

At PaintballBros every participant gets 500 balls, a marker and protective gear, and the game follows tactical scenarios. Near Lubin, BIGo Paintball in Kłopotów requires a booking and also takes small groups of a few people. In Milicz the centre has operated since 2009 and rents out guns, masks and uniforms. The company PROSHOT from Pisarzowice organises paintball and team events across the whole region, including a mobile service.

What else can you do besides paintball?

Many places pair the game with other activities. Fort Przygody adds quad riding, rope bridges over water and pontoon and kayak rafting. In Karpacz, Quady Nitro Events organises guided cross-country quad trips. Kowary4x4 in Łomnica offers paintball, off-road quads and a shooting range, and Eldorado Park in Kopaszyn offers paintball and a quad track on 40 hectares.

If you prefer a different team game, try the Laser Tag Arena in Lubin, which offers laser tag and paintball, or Folwark Szyfrów in Ławica in Kłodzko County. It is an outdoor game in which teams solve puzzles drawn from the history of Lower Silesia and collect gold coins. CityPaintball adds arrowtag, which is archery against a target or an opponent, and CrashBall, football in inflatable spheres.

What about paintball in the mountains and the west of the region?

In the Karkonosze (Giant Mountains) you have two addresses: Kowary4x4 in Łomnica and the company Proshot, whose base is on ulica Pisarzowice in Kamienna Góra, a dozen or so kilometres from Karpacz. It brings equipment to events. In Ząbkowice County, in Laski, you find Azymut, which operates under the Postrzeleni brand and rents markers, masks, gloves and overalls. In the west, near Bolesławiec, you can play at Paintball Osiecznica with scenario games and at Area 51, which won an award in the TOP 100 OF POLAND contest in the paintball category.

Frequently asked questions

How old do you have to be to play paintball?

It depends on the field. Classic play usually starts at 13 or 15, but several places have versions for children from 7, 8 or 9. Ask about the limit when you book.

Do I need to book a date?

Most often yes. BIGo requires a booking, and the Na celowniku field is rented to a group after the date is agreed.

Can I get equipment on site?

In many places you can. The centre in Milicz, Azymut in Laski and Kowary4x4 among others offer rental of markers, masks and overalls. Check the details with the organiser.

Where can a small group play?

BIGo also takes groups of a few people, and Woodspot has a small arena for one-on-one games.
