Choose a swimming pool in Wrocław for lane swimming, lessons or a rest by the sauna. We compare six addresses from Huby to Ołtaszyn.
Where can you swim for sport and learn to swim?
A sports pool is available at Aquapark Brochów, Aquapark Zakrzów and the complex on Borowska Street. The last one (Wrocław Water Park) runs a swimming school and aqua fitness classes. In the centre, right by the Market Square, Wrocław SPA Centre has two pools, a gym, aqua aerobics and group gymnastics. The centre organises swimming courses, both group and individual. Brochów combines a sports pool with an outdoor recreational pool and a paddling pool for children, and Zakrzów also has two fitness rooms upstairs.
All six places carry the Pool and Rainy day tags, so you can swim also when the weather is not good for walks.
Which pool combines swimming with relaxation?
The Aquario pool in Ołtaszyn is meant for adults: a pool with marble tiles and natural light from tall windows, dry and steam saunas, a jacuzzi, massages and a gym where you can train in pairs. Wrocław SPA Centre adds a sauna house in the historic rooms of a former bathhouse and a MED&SPA zone with spa, cosmetic and rehabilitation treatments.
Brochów and Zakrzów have sauna zones with two Finnish saunas and a steam bath, and Zakrzów also has an outdoor brine pool and a wave pool. The main site in Huby, Aquapark Wrocław, adds slides and a sauna house with a sauna garden.
How do you choose a pool?
Families do best with sites that have a paddling pool or slides. Adults without children can pick Aquario, and for a short visit in the city centre Wrocław SPA Centre. The Aquapark Wrocław network covers Huby, Brochów and Zakrzów, so you can choose the one closest to home. Check hours and prices with the operator.
